What happens when you call
One call gets you actual prices, help choosing an amount, and every option explained in plain words.
A licensed agent answers
A real person picks up, not a recording and not a menu of buttons.
You answer a few questions
This is all the agent needs to compare prices:
- Your age
- Your state
- Your general health
- About how much coverage you have in mind
You hear your options
Real prices from A-rated carriers4, next to each other. Keep the numbers and take your time. The choice is yours, and no one chases you for an answer.
Free, no obligation. Mon to Fri, 11am to 7pm ET.

What one call gets you
Your own price, not an average
Your price comes from your age, your health and how much coverage you want. The agent works out your actual number.
Several carriers, next to each other4
The agent quotes several A-rated companies on the same call. You hear the full range of prices, not a sales talk for one company.
Up to $300,000 with no medical exam2
This is simplified issue coverage: approval runs on health questions. No blood draw and no nurse at your door.
The same price for the whole term3
Terms of 10, 15, 20 or 30 years. Your monthly premium does not change during the one you choose.
Health questions up front
Mention blood pressure, diabetes, weight or medications early, and the agent goes first to the companies that price them best.
Coverage that fits your budget
Give the agent a monthly amount you are comfortable with, and they show you how much coverage it buys.
Before you call
Straight answers to what people ask while shopping. Still unsure? A licensed agent can go through it with you in a couple of minutes.
(855) 826-5940What does life insurance actually cost?
Four things set the price: your age, your health, the type of policy, and how much coverage you buy. Two people of the same age can get very different prices. That is why the agent asks a few questions first and then quotes A-rated carriers for your situation, not a range off a chart. No price is final until an insurer reviews and approves an application.
How much coverage do I need?
Begin with what the money has to do: pay off the mortgage, replace a few years of income, cover the funeral, get the kids through school. Add those together, take away what you already have, and you have your number. A licensed agent can go through it with you in a few minutes and price two or three amounts so you see the difference.
How are term and whole life different?
Term covers you for a set number of years, usually 10 to 30, and costs less for each dollar of coverage. Whole life lasts your entire life and builds cash value, so the monthly cost is higher. Neither is better on its own. The right one depends on what the money is for and how long you need it.
Will I need a medical exam?
Often not2. Many A-rated carriers issue a policy on health questions alone, and some approve within a day or two. An exam can sometimes get you a lower price, so the agent will tell you when the extra step is worth it and when it is not.
I have coverage through work. Do I need more?
Group coverage from an employer is usually one or two times your salary, and it normally ends when the job ends. A personal policy stays with you when you change jobs or retire, and it can cover the gap between what work provides and what your family would need. The agent shows you what that costs on the call.
What if my health is not great?
Say so on the call. Every company prices high blood pressure, diabetes, a past surgery and weight differently, which is exactly why comparing matters. An independent agent knows which carriers treat your condition most favorably and starts there.
Who answers when I call?
A real, independent licensed agent. Not a robot and not a phone tree. We are a free comparison and referral service, not an insurance company, so the agent can compare options across carriers and is not tied to one company’s product.
